According to report reaching ayokinews.com, one of the students abducted by bandits from the Federal Government College, Birnin-Yauri, has been killed during a fierce gun battle with the Nigerian Army.
This was made known by the Deputy Force Commander of the Joint Taskforce, Abubakar Abdul-Kadir, while talking to reporters on Friday.
It was however revealed that five (5) others including four (4) students and a teacher were rescued during a gun battle between the Nigerian Army and armed bandits.
