Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, will be hosting the 109 Nigerian Senators of the 9th Assembly at the Presidential Villa in Abuja tonight by 8:00pm. ayokinews.com reports
The meeting which is scheduled to hold tonight was conveyed in a letter sent from the villa to the Senate and was read out during plenary by the Senate President, Ahmed Lawan.
It should be recalled that the Nigerian Senate had earlier in April 2021, reached a resolution of the 9th Senate meeting the President to discuss issues bothering on the insecurity challenging the nation.
The invitation letter sent to the 9th Senate reads; “I write to inform the Distinguished President of the Senate, that President Muhammadu Buhari will host a dinner of Senators of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Tuesday, 13th July, 2021, at 8pm 20:00 hrs.
“The venue is at the State House Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.”
