Controversial Nigerian entertainer and human rights activist, Charles Oputa, popularly known as ‘Charly Boy’, has slammed the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) over the raging hardship being witnessed in the country.
Charly Boy, who happens to be an ardent supporter of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, expressed his displeasure over the country’s situation via his official Twitter (X) handle.
He accused the ruling All Progressives Congress of taking away the peace of common Nigerians without having an iota of pity.
He stressed that prayers will not return the peace of the country except responsible action is taken against “the criminal enterprise”.
“The APC invaders keep making it difficult for the poor man to breathe,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party counterpart are currently challenging the victory of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu of the APC at the presidential election petition tribunal seated in Abuja (FCT).
The two political party have both submitted their final prayers to the court, seeking for the removal of Nigeria’s President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on grounds of rigging and electoral irregularities (most especially 25% in the FCT).
