Sen. Abdullahi Adamu, the newly elected National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), has resigned from his position in the Nigerian Senate. ayokinews.com reports
Adamu, got elected as National Chairman of the APC during the last party convention which took place on March 26.

Resigning along with Adamu was the APC Deputy Chairman, Abubakar Kyari, who quit his position at the upper legislative chamber.
Their resignation were contained in letters, which was read out to the red chamber by Senate President Ahmed Lawan on Tuesday.
