Abiodun Alabi has been named as the next Commissioner of Police in Lagos, succeeding Assistant Inspector General of Police Hakeem Odumosu. ayokinews.com reports
Odumosu was recently promoted to the rank of Assistant Inspector General (AIG), and he was slated to be redeployed from the Lagos State command as the Commissioner of Police (CP) as a result of the elevation.
Alabi, who was the Bauchi State Commissioner of Police until his recent appointment. He is expected to succeed Odumosu early next week.
