Ayokinews.com has learned that abducted students and staff of the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic in Zaria, Kaduna State, have regained their freedom.
This was made known by the Polytechnic’s Public Relations Officer, Abdullahi Shehu, while speaking to Channels TV, in Kaduna.
Abdullahi said that the students were able to regain their freedom after negotiation agreement was reached between their parents and the bandits while he also kept mum on whether ransom was paid for the student’s release.
It should be recalled that armed bandits had earlier stormed the Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic on 11th June, 2021, an operation which led to the death of one student and the abduction of some other pupils.
