Grammy award winning Nigerian singer, songwriter and performer, Burna Boy, unveiled the tracklist for his next album “Love Damini” on his 31st birthday, and it’s a truly remarkable one.
Great performers were chosen by Burna Boy from the United States, South Africa, England (Britain), Jamaica, and Nigeria, his home country.
Burna boy includes Ladysmith Black Mamboza, a South African male choral group, on tracks 1 and 19, titled “Glory” and “Love, Damini,” respectively. The group has received 10 Grammy nominations and has won five of them.
Featuring in track 5 “Cloak & Dagger” includes British rapper, J Hus, who is recognized as the creator and forerunner of the music genre “Afroswing”.
Track 8 of the album, “Different Size”, includes Nigeria fine tuned music star, Victony.
Track 11 saw Burna Boy collaborate with Jamaican DJ, singer, and composer Popcaan on “T.A.S.”

Track 12 titled “Solid”, saw Burna Boy collaborate with American rapper Blxst and one time Grammy nominated singer, Kehlani Ashley.
Collaborating on track 13 titled “For My Hand”, Burna Boy featured English singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran, who has total of 15 Grammy nomination and has won 4.
Colombian artist J Balvin, who has a total of 4 Grammy nomination appeared on track 14 of Burna Boy’s album, “Roller Coaster”.
Track 17 of the album “Wild Dreams”, has the impressive touch of American singer Khalid, a seven-time Grammy nominee.
Burna Boy is clearly out for serious business with his “Love Damini” Album, judging from this rich and well-endowed tracklist. Definitely worth the extended wait.
