The Deputy Governor of Edo state, Philip Shuaibu, has debunked rumors of him having a rift with his boss, Governor Godwin Obaseki, saying they both have no relationship problems. ayokinews.com reports
Shuaibu made this comment following the circulated rumor of him planning to dump the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) as a result of a rift between him and the Edo state Governor, Godwin Obaseki.
In his words; “I am happy with my governor; I don’t have any problem with my governor.

“So, the issue of not being happy with my governor is not there. I remain absolutely loyal to my governor.”
The Deputy Governor who didn’t specifically say if he was leaving the PDP of not, stated that the the party has pressing internal issues to handle.
“There are issues we need to resolve over PDP,” he said.
