Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike, has lashed out at his Ebonyi state counterpart/colleague, Dave Umahi, for saying God will give Nigeria another leader who has a good and kind heart like President Muhammadu Buhari. ayokinews.com reports
Governor Umahi, while speaking to State House Correspondents at the Aso Villa on Monday, made the remark.
In response to the remark made by Umahi, Wike stated that his Ebonyi state counterpart wasn’t saying the truth as he termed him to have lied.
Governor Wike further noted that even President Buhari deeply knows in his mind that God would never give Nigeria another incompetent leader like him.
Governor Wike said, “That was how a governor was saying that he prays that Nigeria gets another President like Buhari.
“I said what has gone wrong with him? You mean there shouldn’t be (a) psychiatric check on the governor? Sycophancy.
“And you know that the President knows that you are telling lies to him. He (Buhari) knows.
“It is unfortunate. May God help us.”
