Nasir El-Rufai, the governor of Kaduna State, has boasted that the planned street march in support of Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, won’t draw more than 200 of his followers.
El-Rufai tweeted this in response to “Kaduna Two Million March for Peter Obi,” which was written by a certain @ZamarOmar.
The governor appeared to be making fun of the Igbos by calling them “imports” who are unable to operate their businesses on Mondays.
El-Rufai tweeted: “In Kaduna? Not Kaduna Twitter? – I hope you get Two Hundred persons on the streets, including those ‘imports’ that can’t open their shops on Mondays and came on overnight bus last night!
