Reno Omokri, a Nigerian socio-political activist and former presidential aide, has urged Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s presidential candidate, to begin drafting his inauguration address as the 2023 presidential election draws near. ayokinews.com reports
Omokri made this known in response to the emergence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu (BAT), a former Lagos State Governor, as the All Progressives Congress’s (APC) 2023 presidential candidate.
As previously reported by AYOKI NEWS, the Asiwaju of Lagos received half of the total votes cast in the APC primary poll and was elected as the party’s presidential candidate.
Omokri responded to the BAT’s primary victory by predicting that Atiku will defeat Tinubu in the 2023 presidential race.
Speaking via his official Facebook page, Reno Omokri wrote, “As far as I am concerned, HE Atiku should start writing his inauguration speech. As long as God spares his life, I do not see anything stopping him from winning the 2023 election.

“I spent time and money to campaign for Tinubu because we knew Osinbajo would be harder to defeat!
“Because of Kwankwaso’s entry into the Presidential race, Northern votes would be split between HE Atiku and Kwankwaso. It is Southern votes that will determine the 2023 election.
“Those of you who thought I was campaigning for Tinubu did not know the strategy. I am not a fool. I could kiss the APC delegates for joy”!
