During the primary, Prof. Pat Utomi, a political economist, stepped down for Peter Obi, stating, “Obi must be given the opportunity to govern this country.”
Obi, who resigned from the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) on Wednesday, announced his decamp to the Labour Party on Friday evening, inviting Nigerians, particularly the youths, to join him.
