Head Coach of the Nigerian Super Eagles, Jose Peseiro, has asserted that it would be difficult to repeat a 10-0 defeat against Sao Tome and Principe.
The three-times AFCON champion humiliated Sao Tome and Principe to get their biggest win in Agadir, Morocco, last year.
Fans are speculating that Nigeria would repeat the same feat against the Adriano Eusebio led side this evening at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
Jose Peseiro, has however, dismissed such insinuations as he said that it would be difficult for the Eagles to repeat such feat.
“It will not be easy to repeat 10-0, that’s a big record,” Peseiro told a press conference in Uyo.
“The promise is we will give the maximum to score goals, to win and finish top of the group because we are the best team in the group.
“I have a fantastic group and good atmosphere and with these we can beat any team.”
